I am a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Employment Research, University of Westminster, working on topics in education and labour economics.
My current research focusses on school choice, social mobility and returns to education, and I have wider interests in population health and statistical methods.
My work typically uses large survey datasets, often linked with administrative records, to evaluate public policies and understand variation in outcomes across the life course.
I have held previous posts at Lancaster University, the University of Glasgow and the New Zealand Treasury. I joined the IZA, Institute of Labor Economics, as a Research Fellow in 2019.
